There are studies that that’s a major cause of injuries for kids.
Because they might be hurrying across the street, something falls out of their backpack. Once they lean down to get it, they’re that much smaller and that much harder to see and that’s when, certainly cars just may lose track of where the kid went because they all of a sudden disappeared and injuries occurred.
