One person says this, another person says that. You know, one example is, I had a motorcycle trial a number of years ago in the southern part of Wisconsin. One of the counties where it’s rural, this one motorcycle driver was riding on a rural road and somebody else in front was saying that they were just going straight and our client was going to pass them on the left.
Well, it didn’t make any sense why our client would just pass them on the left for no reason. What turned out to be the case after we took depositions was that other driver admitted that they were turning left and slow down. They didn’t turn their, their signal on kind of went right. So they can make a nice, easy turn in their mind, easy turn to the left into a driveway.
Our client said he was driving his motorcycle, going straight, sees the car slow down, veer right. And pass them on the left again, which is appropriate and he got severely injured, but ultimately we, we won. I guess that was the best part is that we won the trial. So that was good for our client.
