There are three insurance companies that we simply do not think treat our clients fairly. And those insurance companies are Allstate, Farmers, and Progressive. I have to say Geico is right up there too. American Family is right up there too. But when you’re dealing with these insurance companies, they’re really difficult because they’ll do things many times that we consider to be sneaky.
They’ll try to get you to give a recorded statement and have you admit. to accepting a certain dollar amount verbally, and that closes the case. You know, those kinds of things I think are not appropriate. We’ve had insurance companies that have hidden insurance policies, lied about what their policy limits are.
Those are situations where we look at that office wide and say, these insurance companies are untrustworthy and we have a hard time dealing with them.
