Stay safe this Halloween: stick to bright areas and stay alert!

Posted on

Halloween’s almost here, how should you stay safe for Halloween night and for a lot of municipalities around the area, Halloween might be celebrated on the day before, the weekend before, the weekend after, so just make sure you’re aware of when those kids might be running around, the Goblins, the Taylor Swifts, whatever they’re dressed as, make sure that you’re aware of them.

Certainly a number one thing that I’d recommend is. Be aware of every intersection, right? Kids might be walking across an intersection. They might be darting out. So just be extra aware of neighborhoods and certainly where intersections are, be aware of that because that’s just so important. And lights might be going on.

You know, the streetlights may be going on sooner rather than later or in some regards later because the weather is the way it is in Wisconsin and it’s getting darker earlier. But just be aware that your headlights may not show these kids. Hopefully your headlights are checked. That’s a great thing to do right now for this time of year when we have more dark than we have light.

So, check your headlights. Make sure just your car in general is ready for the winter.  Get ready now. So you’re ready for Halloween and then certainly ready for the winter months. As relates to Halloween though, have a great time. Have a safe time. I hope you enjoy Halloween in Wisconsin.
