January 20th, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Not only do we celebrate, really we’re honoring. Martin Luther King Jr. For all that he did, you know, in Milwaukee, we know about this. He visited Milwaukee four times from 1957 until 1967. So there were many speeches that he gave at, various locations in Milwaukee.
So certainly this is a day to remember. Martin Luther King, what he did for the civil rights movement, and to remember that hopefully we can do more ourselves, you know, live up to his expectations to what he said for just inclusion, understanding of others, and a time to celebrate diversity. So. I hope you enjoy Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Really take this day, and understand what it means. And remember, I think it was 1983 and we’ve been celebrating this for, is that 40 years now, when President Reagan signed this into law. Hopefully we’re making progress every single year. So let’s take time to think how we can make progress going forward.
