One out of every four elementary students in the Wauwatosa School District walks to school on a regular basis. In light of this and the start of the new school year, Groth Law Firm decided to pull together some data regarding the walking safety for our children. Using the 2013 surveys of Wauwatosa parents conducted by Safe Routes, as well as official city reports, we created the easy to digest infographic below.
The infographic shows some of the statistics of pedestrian accidents in Wauwatosa, offers safety tips, and provides contact information for the city administrator and crossing guard contractor. Please use this resource to educate your children about how to stay safe while walking to school. If you have concerns about any particular crosswalks, please contact the local city officials listed in the infographic. If a family member or someone you know was injured at a cross walk, contact Groth Law Firm at 414-269-6322 for a free consultation.

What Our
Clients Say
“Jon, Of the many professionals I had spoken with, to represent me and look to for support, you took me totally by surprise with your approach of compassion, concern, professionalism and direction for my individual situation. This period of my life and its new challenges has been very humbling and introspective for me. Thank you for your spirit of compassion and care that you have provided for me in a world that hopefully will not become increasingly more difficult to do so in.”
