Okay, here we have the answer to the question. Who’s liable if a delivery driver slips on your front steps? Really the answer is, I’m gonna say two fold. It’s not a trick question, but it, it’s a legal answer, so I apologize. But it’s B, you the homeowner, and D depends on the property condition. If you’re a homeowner and you let your front steps become icy. You don’t put salt down, you don’t take care of the property well, then you are responsible if somebody, comes up to your property to deliver something, you ordered and slips and falls and injures themself on the other hand. If you are a homeowner and you keep the property as safe as you can, you’re putting salt down and removing the snow, removing I guess, different objects that you might have on your front stoop so people don’t trip and they still do trip, well then that’s not on you. That’s on them.
You know, anyone is expected to act with reason to be careful when they’re, walking in general, wherever they are in the world. So, it really depends on two things. It could be the property condition, answer d and or b you the homeowner.
