Did You Know Independence Was Actually Voted on July 2nd?

Happy Independence Day, July 4th, America’s independence. But did you actually know that the vote took place on July 2nd? The Continental Congress voted on July 2nd. it was adopted on July 4th, and that’s become the national holiday. You know, our July 4th celebrations, independence Day. But if the vote took place two days earlier, so maybe we should have two days off July 2nd and July 4th.

I don’t know. Happy 4th of July. Enjoy this great day. Hopefully, it’s as nice by you as it is by me.
