What happens if I post crash pictures online after a wreck?

Posting crash photos online can really destroy your case. Why? Well, because the insurance company and their claims adjusters, their attorneys, their investigators are looking, I can guarantee you, they are looking at your online profiles, trying to figure out what you’ve said before the crash. After the crash.

It is a guarantee. We have this right now with multiple cases of ours where insurance companies are asking for our client’s social media content, and they’re referencing social media content. I have a story from years ago where they, thought they had us in a gotcha moment, but they found somebody else’s content.

And it was kind of funny because we had a reverse gotcha on them. But. That just proves that they are actively, they meaning the insurance company, the adjusters, their investigators, their attorneys, the big group of people out there are actively trying to find information on you. So don’t give it to ’em.

Don’t give it to ’em. I would recommend that you keep your, your Facebook, your Instagram, your TikTok, whatever, private. And if you have a crash and you feel the need to post something before you do it, I recommend you call a lawyer because we need to talk with you about the positives and the negatives of posting things online and how it might affect your case in the short term.

Don’t do it. If you have questions, give us a call.
