Tip 7: Don’t Talk to the Insurance Company

Posted on

15 years, 15 pieces of legal advice. We’re at number seven, I think. Don’t talk to the insurance company. This is one that I said a million times. I think. Don’t talk to the insurance company. The insurance company’s gonna try to get you to. Commit to something that you don’t want to commit to. They’re gonna try to get you to verbally sign a release, which we’ve had, I don’t know how many different times.

And, you don’t want to get involved in that kind of litigation about a verbal release. They’re gonna try to get you to agree to accept. So hey. You weren’t that badly injured, were you? No. You don’t want to agree with their words. You want your story to be your story. Long story short, don’t talk to the insurance company.

Let the message go to your messages in your voicemail, and then let an attorney negotiate with the insurance company.
