Back to school series here, the next point that we need to make is something that the Wisconsin DOT references, and certainly we’ll have a lot of these links in our notes here, but it’s the role of parents. You know, crashes occur around your homes, there’s the studies that show that within a certain number of miles around your home, your school, your work, you’re more likely to be involved in a crash.
So the role of parents in these injuries is simply this, make sure your kids are in children’s seats, safety seats, booster seats that they have their seatbelts on, all those things are really important. So let’s remember, you know, the role of parents and what we have as an obligation for the safety of our kids.
