Legal Trivia: Who’s at Fault When Ice Flies Off a Car?

Here’s legal trivia for you. I have a question and then I ask you to comment below and let us know your thoughts, and then we’ll tell you the answer later on. If a driver fails to fully clear snow off their car and it flies off, causing another driver to crash, who is at fault? I think this happens more frequently than you, than you know, right?

When you’re driving on the freeway and you see a semi maybe coming from up north. And chunks of ice are falling off the top. Always freaks me out. So what do you think, who’s responsible for that ice falling off? If it hits another car and causes that car to crash, would it be the weather? The driver who didn’t clear the snow, the driver who crashed, or no one, it’s considered an act of God.

What do you think? A, B, C, or D? Let us know your answer in the comments below, and we’ll give you the answer later on.
