I don’t have auto insurance. What do I do?

I don’t have auto insurance. What do I do? We get that question pretty frequently. In Wisconsin, the law says that you should have, that you must have, auto insurance. If you’re not insured and you’re involved in a crash, then you’ll make a claim against the at fault party’s insurance. If the at fault party has insurance, their insurance should pay for all of your medical expenses, your lost wages, your pain and suffering, and your incidental losses.

So if you don’t have auto insurance, then it’s really important that we know right away who the at fault insurance is so we can get compensation from that party.
