How much coverage do I need in Wisconsin?

Posted on

Memorable moments. I’ll just keep this quick. I’ll tell you, in Wisconsin, you only have to have 25, 000 dollars in coverage to be fully insured. If you are struck by an at fault driver who has no insurance, and you have uninsured motorist coverage of 25, 000 dollars, that’s all you’re going to get. So we have a client who has millions, you know, over a million dollars of medical bills, and their only compensation is their 25, 000 dollars of uninsured motorist coverage.

It’s a terrible situation. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I wish we could get more. There’s just nothing more you can do. The at fault party is going to be found for bankruptcy and we can’t help them out.
