This tiny holiday setup causes a lot, a lot of falls. Holiday extension cords across walkways are a huge hazard. They cause injuries literally every single year, and we see clients who have called us because they fell at a commercial site, you know, it could be a garden center that has them up because they have decorations or a house that, is being used to sell items in the home.
Things like that. Boy, we see these all the time when somebody has a, an unsafe cord across a hallway and they don’t have it taped down. I think it’s called gaffer tape or any kind of tape or any kind of warning that there is this trip and fall hazard right there. So just make sure if you’re the one who’s putting down extension cords, make sure there’s secured.
They have the proper notice if it’s a sign or bright tape. Those kind of things are super important. So you’re not the one that’s, responsible for the injury, number one. And if you’re walking around, make sure you’re looking for that because hey, it’s the holiday season. You have to be aware of your surroundings.
