It’s fire prevention week here. This is one that’s important for me as the son of a firefighter. You know, making sure that you understand. What you can do to prevent fires. So I think the easiest thing you can do is just simply make sure that you have the right batteries, your batteries are working, in your smoke detectors, and that you have the right amount of smoke detectors in your house.
In your apartment, in your condo, wherever you are. Don’t forget about your workplace. Hey, check, does your employer have smoke detectors? Do they have sprinklers? You know what’s out there. This is the time of the year. Just use this as the time to check and make sure. You have the right stuff. A lot of times, the fire department and other community services here in the Milwaukee area will hand out free nine volt batteries ’cause that’s kind of the most common battery for smoke detectors. So. Let us know. if you need extra smoke detector batteries, we also have them here at the office. We’d be happy to hand those out. Let us know if you need one or if you need help finding a place that would be able to get you a free smoke detector.
Those who are out there also. Please take care again, let’s make this awareness week for fire prevention. Make it successful so we save more lives.
