Finishing the year—what are your office traditions?

Posted on

The end of the year is here. What are you doing in your office? There’s something that we do every single year is we really reflect back on the past year and then look forward to next year. So certainly this is a time that we’re looking at, do we meet our goals quarter over quarter, week by week? And then getting all that information together because we have an annual meeting in the beginning of the year in January.

So just a few weeks away now that we’re looking at next year. So we’re looking retrospectively and then we’re looking forward to what next year might bring. So we can set those goals and hopefully have a good understanding of where we should be based on where we have been. It’s something that’s, you know, difficult because in the personal injury world, end of the year is really the end of the year push.

We try to get as many cases out the door for our clients, because we know that clients, can use that extra money now for the holidays, winter emergencies that come up, you know, things like that. So that’s our goal. So we’re really working in the business and on the business. At the same time, which makes it hectic, but that’s part of being a lawyer.

You know, that’s part of what we have signed up for here with our entire team. So we can help people and hopefully help more people next year.
