Hopefully you take somebody and they’re also watching this video and they got the answer, or they’ll get the answer to this question. If you crash while delivering holiday packages, whose insurance applies?
Yours, Employers, the customers, or it depends on the situation? In my opinion, the answer is it’s the employers.
When you’re on the clock, your employer’s insurance applies. So if you’re driving for uber, you know, Uber has the packaging delivery thing. If you are driving for Uber, if it’s, if you’re a driver for Amazon, like the last mile, you know that kind of thing, that insurance is gonna apply. Now if you are delivering, Domino’s Pizza and you don’t have insurance. I guess Domino’s didn’t get you insurance or you’re just hopping there, hopping your vehicle and you take off and you were never told to get insurance, for example. Then you need to make sure you have your own insurance that has a rider for delivering for hire. So that’s important to have, but with regard to this specific fact scenario, I would say B is the right answer.
Your employer’s insurance is going to apply in this situation.
