Today’s tip for back to school safety is simply this, be vigilant, be aware of your surroundings. There’s going to be a lot of kids who are walking to school in the next few weeks. Make sure you know where crosswalks are. And as a parent, make sure you tell your kids where the crosswalks are. There are going to be kids who are going to second guess and maybe go this way, maybe go that way and they’re not quite sure. And as a driver, you need to be extra vigilant to be aware of what the kids may or may not be doing, where they’re going. You give them extra time. Be vigilant, be aware of what’s going on around your vehicle, and make sure you know where all the crosswalks are.
