Megan McCormick has spent her entire career dedicated to litigating and trying complex cases in state and federal courts around the country. She began her career in 2007 in Chicago, where she defended corporations, insurers, and other institutional clients in personal injury cases involving catastrophic loss.

Through this experience, Megan obtained a deep understanding of how defendants and insurers evaluate, litigate, and resolve serious injury claims. Megan made the purposeful transition to Plaitniff’s work, bringing her haward-won experience and knowledge to assist injured individuals and grieving families. Her firsthand knowledge of defense strategies and approaches to litigation helps Megan level the playing field for her clients. At the core of Megan’s practice is her commitment to her clients as people, not cases. Megan takes the time to understand the full human impact of her client’s injuries and needs and works to ensure their voices remain central to the legal process.

Megan’s clients value her honest, straightforward communication, as well as her willingness to work hard to obtain successful results on their behalf. Megan is based in the Milwaukee area and is licensed in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Texas state courts. She is also licensed in federal courts around the country and has argued a successful appeal in the 8th Circuit. She is uniquely prepared to provide zealous and client-focused representation to a variety of clients. Given her background and experience litigating and trying cases in both states, Megan is also uniquely positioned to serve as local counsel for Wisconsin attorneys pursuing cases in Illinois state courts.
